 Minister: Non-OPEC members won’t protest against final decision to cut output

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. Azerbaijani energy minister Natig Aliyev will attend the Vienna meeting on October 29.

According to the ministry, the meeting will also be attended by Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Brunei, Oman, Egypt, Bahrain, Colombia, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Bolivia, Norway, Malaysia and Canada.

Regarding the meeting, Aliyev said Azerbaijan joins initiatives for stabilization of oil market and increase of oil price and is ready to contribute to reaching an agreement: “I think the non-cartel states will not protest against the final decision to cut output. The main issue is to eliminate the contradictions among OPEC members, especially Iran, Libya, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia”.

Aliyev also added that Azerbaijan will again state its position to keep the production stable at the separate meetings in Vienna.
