Azerbaijan gets 8% decline in natural gas production

In January-October 2017, the products in the mining sector of industry amounted to AZN 19.9 billion, down 5.7% from previous year.

State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the crude oil production made up 28.8 million tonnes, marketable gas production 13.5 bcm.

In ten months of 2017, 28,792,800 tonnes of crude oil (including gas condensate) were produced in the country, down 8% compared to the ten months of previous year. Consequently, the finished product made 448,400 tonnes. Of this, 28,755,400 tonnes made up marketable oil, which is 8% lower than previous year.

During the reporting period, 21,091,000,000 cubic meters of gas were produced in the country, down 5.3% from 2016.
