In January-June 2017, Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transported 21,052,700 tonnes of oil.
The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that 78.3% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipelines and this pipeline transported 16,474,700 tonnes of oil.
During the reporting period, 3,263,000 tonnes of transit oil were transported via the BTC pipeline.
In the six months of 2017, the country’s main pipelines transported 11,428,900,000 cubic meters of gas, up 10.2% in annual comparison. 33.3% (3,801,200,000 cubic meters) of the transported gas was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum.
