Côte d'Ivoire has given consent to build a LNG import terminal, Africanews reported.
French Total which holds 34% stake in the project is also operator.
The state has 11% share in the project. Other two shareholders are SOCAR and Shell.
The capacity will make up 3 million tonnes.
The project is planned to be launched in mid-2018.
