SOCAR reduces oil output nearly 9%

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In September 2016, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 618,600 tonnes of oil, down 8.33% from September 2015, 2.81% from August 2016, read a statement from SOCAR.

SOCAR produced 5,675,800 tonnes of oil in January-September, down 8.66% compared to the previous year.

SOCAR produced 647,000 tonnes of oil in January 2016, 605,000 tonnes in February and 646,200 tonnes in March, 624,500 tonnes in April, 639,000 tonnes in May, 620,000 tonnes in June, 639,000 tonnes in July and 636,500 tonnes in August.

Oil production across the country made 3,113,300 tonnes in September, down 11.07% in comparison to the same period of 2015, 10.83% compared to August 2016.

In January-Setember 2016, 31,304,400 tonnes of oil overall were produced in the country, down 0.28% from the previous year.

A total of 3,518,200 tonnes of oil were produced in the country in January 2016, 3,339,300 tonnes in February, 3,649,700 tonnes in March, 3,469,800 in April, 3,567,200 in May, 3,519,700 tonnes in June, 3,491,300 tonnes in August and 3,113,300 tonnes in September.
