Baku – APA-Economics. TPAO will spend $1.691 billion to the oil and gas production in 2017, APA-Economics reports citing to Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
TPAO is operating in Azerbaijan, Iraq, Russia, Libya and Afghanistan in order to meet domestic demand for natural gas, the ministry said.
In 2015, TPAO’s investments in Turkey amounted to $462 million.
TPAO holds 19% stake in the South Caucasus Pipeline, 8.6% in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, 6.53% in Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and 19% in Shahdeniz.
