Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Ukrainian Finance Ministry has banned transportation of 262,000 tonnes of Russian oil by Ukrtransnafta PJSC through Odessa-Kremenchuk oil pipeline, first Deputy General Director of PJSC Ukrtransnafta Andrey Pasishnik said.

He said Russian oil had to be replaced by Azerbaijani oil.

“The Finance Ministry opposes agreements reached by presidents and governments and imposes ban instead of settlement of the problem”, he added.

On November 4, Ukrtransnafta appealed to Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman for replacement of Urals oil by Azeri Light.

On November 2, Ukrtransnaft and Ukrtatnaft (operator of Kremenchuk oil refinery) signed a protocol on transportation of 4 million tonnes of Azerbaijani oil to the refinery.
