US official: South Caucasus Corridor to improve economic well-being in Azerbaijan

"The contribution Azerbaijan is making to the extraction and transportation of energy resources was noted at today's oil and gas exhibition in Baku,” US Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Diplomacy Robin Dunnigan said during the reception organized by the US and British embassies in Azerbaijan within the framework of the Oil and Gas Exhibition, APA reported.

"We believe that governments and companies will act jointly and make the Southern Gas Corridor a reality. We believe that the Southern Gas Corridor will increase economic prosperity in Azerbaijan and also give impetus to the diversification of energy resources and economic development in Europe,” she said.
