Volume of oil transported via Azerbaijan’s main pipelines anounced

In January-April 2017, Azerbaijan’s main pipelines transported 13,931,400 tonnes of oil.

The State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics that 78.1% of the transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil export pipelines and this pipeline transported 10,880,100 tonnes of oil.

During the reporting period, 2,118,100 tonnes of transit oil were transported via the BTC pipeline.

Over the eight months of 2015, the country’s main pipelines transported 8,036,200,000 cubic meters of gas, up 9.6% in annual comparison. 31.8% (2,554,600,000 cubic meters) of the transported gas was realized via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum—South Caucasus Pipeline.
