Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) Haji Allahshukur Pashazade warned on Tuesday that imams and akhunds who join luxurious ceremonies before iftar will be penalized.

“Such an act is deemed a rebellion against God. Being well-off does not mean it is OK to violate the rules of fasting,” he said.
