Most tourism companies dissatisfied with sale of AZAL’s air tickets only in online mode

By the initiative of the Azerbaijan Tourism Agencies Association (ATAA), the online meeting has been held with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) company, AATA told APA.

 

At the meeting, the exchange of ideas has been conducted around the expansion of bilateral contacts and cooperation, the resumption of air flights, the security of passengers, as well as the activity of the tourism companies engaged ticket sale.

AZAL’s vice-president Eldar Hajiyev touching upon importance of implementation of restrictions during the period of the pandemic, said the main purpose of implementation of the new rules is to protect citizens’ health and to prevent the risk of wide spread of the virus by observing social distance.

The AZAL official noted that after expiry of the quarantine period, it will be possible to implement the air ticket sales in accordance with passengers’ wishes both by approaching air ticket windows and in online mode. He also stressed that after the quarantine, the tourism companies will be able to implement air ticket sale to its clients in the previous manner.
