Georgia’s revenues from tourism near $400M

In August 2017 Georgia’s revenues from tourism amounted to $390.9 million, up $92.9 million from previous year, APA reports citing to Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development

 

In August 1,080,449 foreigners visited Georgia, up 27.4% in comparison to a year earlier, which led to an increase of 18.5% in the sector of hotel and restaurant.

 

Among the travelers, 220,314 people were Azerbaijani citizens.
