Azerbaijan national team named squad for European Championship

Azerbaijan national team named squad who will participate in European weightlifting championship in the city of Georgia, Batumi on April 6-13, ONA reports.

Azerbaijan national squad will consist of 12 athletes: Marziyya Maharramova (49 kg), Sabina Azimova (55 kg), Boyanka Kostova (59 kg), Muhammad Mammadli, Rustəm Gasimov (both 67 kg), Pasha Ibrahimli, Kanan Khalilov (both 73 kg), Kanan Aliguliyev, Fugan Aliyev (both 81 kg), Nailkhan Nabiyev, Kamran Ismayılov (both 96 kg) və Alish Nazarova (102 kg) participate in the Championship.

Note that 214 male and 187 female weightlifters from 42 countries are expected to compete in the competition.
