Azerbaijani team to attend European Championship with 11 boxers

European Championship among teenage boxers will be held in Galata, Romania on May 24, ONA reports.

Azerbaijan national team will attend this competition which will last 9 days. Head coach of our team Vagif Kazimov will give a chance to 11 boxers in the continental championship.

Our attendees Nijat Huseynov (46 kg), Said Abdullayev (48 kg), Zaur Gahramanov (50 kq), Asad Agayev (52 kg), Zalimkhan Suleymanov (54 kg), Turghay Mirzayev (57 kg), Elmaddin Aghayev (60 kg), İsa Novruzlu (63 kg), Sayadulla Nasirov (66 kg), Ramish Jafarov (70 kg) and Jafar Heydarli (80 kg) will go to the ring.

Azerbaijani team who already have gone to Romania will return to the country on June 2.

Note that, round fights of European Championship will be held on May 24-28. Boxers will rest on May 29 and in the next two days will attend in semi-final games. Winners will be announced on June 1.
