The first European Championship on Aerobic Gymnastics will start today in Baku, ONA reports.
The strongest aerobics masters from 22 countries will compete in the 3 rounds of the competition at the National Gymnastics Arena.
About 400 senior and young gymnasts will compete in individual women and men, mixed pairs, trio, group, and aerodance, aerosteps (adults only).
Elchin Mammadov, Medina Mustafayeva, Ayhan Akhmedli, Balakhanim Ahmadova, Vladimir Dolmatov, Emil Guliyev, Khoshgadam Guliyeva, Narmina Huseynova, Imran Imranov, Nigar Ibrahimbeyli, Akif Kerimli among seniors, Aysel Aslanzade, Khadija Guliyeva, Lala Guliyeva, Fatima Gurbanova, Emilia Mahmudova and Eleonora Yusifova will represent our country in the championship among juniors.
Young gymnasts will go to the pitch in the race. The next day, senior aerobatic gymnasts will compete for the continental championship. The names of the European champions will be known on the last day of the race - on May 26 at the final stages.
Note that the first starts at 12:00. The opening ceremony of the championship will take place at 16:00.
