The presentation of the translated variant of the book entitled “Grand Prix for murderer” by writer Chingiz Abdullayev was held in Book Club’s Exhibition Saloon. The work described Azerbaijan’s reality in detective genre was translated by Elshan Aliyev, APA reports.
Elkhan Rzayev, the director of the Book Club addressing the meeting said the books’ translation took place at the request of the readers. Chingiz Abdullayev said he was unaware of the publication of his book. “I am too happy that my books are presented to Azerbaijani readers in our native language. I express my gratitude to the translators. 17 books of mine were translated into Azerbaijani language in the past 3 years. Today next presentation of my book is being held. Every nation is famous for its literature and culture. And I am trying for the popularization of my Azerbaijan”.
The writer said he wrote 108 novels and stories which are collected in 700 books. Chingiz Abdullayev autographed books for readers./APA/
