Baku. Kanan Hasanov –APA. Chess Grand Slam tournament in Bilbao, Spain has finished. Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) defetaed Vasiliy Ivanchuk (Ukraine) in the last tour and became a winner of the Final Master tournament. The Bulgarian chess player gained 17 points from 10 games and earned 150 thousand euro from the total prize fund. Magnus Carlsen (Norway) drawing with Vishwanathan Anand within the final phase was a runner-up with 13 points. The grand master known with nickname “Baby” earned 70 thousand euro. Armenian Levon Aronian stood behind him only for coefficient took third place and won 60 thousand euro. Ivanchuk took 4th place with 12 points and 50 thousand euro. Only Azerbaijani representative in teh tournament Teymour Radjabov didn’t justify hopes. 21-year old grand master finished in the 5th place with 10 points despite that he defeated Aronian with black figures. Teymour’s earning was 40 thousand euro. The world cahmpion Vishwanathan Anand surprised all finishing the tournament in the bottom with 8 points. He earned only 30 thousand euro.
