The national team of Azerbaijan under the age of 16 has won the Olympiad held in Turkey, APA reports.
The national team consisting of Mohammed Muradli, Aydin Suleymanli, Ahmed Ahmedzade, Vugar Manafov, and Govhar Beydullayeva has won because of the victory in the last round.
Facing China in the ninth round our chess players has also won their 7th meeting. Drawing in the other 2 matches the national team has acquired the Champion title of the Chess Olympiad with 16 points.
Uzbekistan has won the silver medals at the contest.
