Azerbaijani chess player Teymur Rajabov has won the World Cup title, APA reports.

The 32-year-old grandmaster has won a duel with Chinese Ding Liren in the final match of the tournament in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Azerbaijan's chess-player has won in the tie-break. In 4 meetings with 25 and 10 minutes Teymur Rajabov played draw, then outnumbered his opponent. According to the results of two matches, he won with a score of 2:0 and won the World Cup for the first time in the history of Azerbaijan.
