“We have several problems in tourism. No one can say thet everything is perfect”, said Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev.
According to him, the beach tourism did not yield expected result: “It was successful in some places, unsuccessful in some places. Consequently, we could not reach a goal of creating exemplary beaches which would be accepted by the international organizations. However, the process is underway and local executive authorities are working on it. I believe that this sector will develop next year. However, despite people being a lot in numbers, not too many tragic accidents happened”.
