The U.S. Dow Jones stock index went down by 0.53% to 25,064.60 points, S&P 500 by 0.40% to 2,804.49 points and NASDAQ by 0.37% to 7,825.30 points.
In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index increased by 0.10% to 7,683.93 points, Germany’s DAX by 0.62% to 12,686.29, French CAC 40 by 0.56% to 5,417.07, APA-Economics reported.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold prices descended $4.20 to $1,219.80 an ounce and silver prices decreased by $0.08 to $15.32.
