The U.S. Dow Jones stock index increased by 0.20% to 22,203.48 points, S&P 500 went down by 0.11% to 2,495.62 points and NASDAQ decreased by 0.48% to 6,429.09 points.
In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went down by 1.14% to 7,295.39 points, Germany’s DAX decreased 0.10% to 12,540.45, French CAC 40 increased by 0.15% to 5,225.20, APA-Economics reported.
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold prices descended $4.40 to $1,333.70 an ounce and silver prices soared $0.06 to $17.85.
