US, European stocks go down

The U.S. Dow Jones stock index fell by 0.14% to 19,799.85 points, S&P 500 dropped 0.27% to 2,265,20 points and NASDAQ slid 0.04% to 5,552.95 points.

In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index went down by 0.66% to 7,251.18 points, Germany’s DAX descended 0.73% to 11,545.75 and French CAC 40 slipped 0.60% to 4,821.41.

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold was sold for $1,215.60 an ounce, and silver for $17.19.
