A group which smuggling a large amount of weapons from Karabakh to Armenia exposed

Armenia's National Security Service (NSS) has exposed a group smuggling a large amount of weapons from Karabakh into the country, according to information disseminated by the press service of Armenian NSS, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
It was stated that the criminal plan was prepared by a resident of Yerevan named S.B.
He voluntarily went to Karabakh after the start of military operations on September 27. Together with a group of people, he took the illegally acquired machine guns to his apartment in Yerevan.
In early November, S.B. prepared to sell his weapons for $ 500-600. During the search, machine guns, bullets, and other ammunition were found in his apartment.
Later, warehouses were found in the village of Tex (near Gorus) in Syunik province, where weapons intended for illegal transportation and sale to Yerevan were stored.
A total of 43 Kalashnikov rifles, 280 7.62 mm cartridges, 23 boxes of 5.45 mm cartridges, optical sights, one grenade and other ammunition were found.
