Armenian Defence Ministry has issued a statement, APA reported.

The statement says that the army is an apolitical structure

“‘The Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia fully implement the protection of the borders of our Homeland and ensure security. The army is an apolitical structure, all attempts to involve the armed forces in any political process are inadmissible,” the statement reads.

Note that the General Staff of the Armenian Army made a statement demanding the resignation of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinya called the statement of the General Staff of Armenia an attempt at a military coup.
