Armenian National Defence Service detains person engaged in arms trafficking in Karabakh

Armenian National Defence Service has detained a person engaged in arms trafficking in Karabakh, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

Armenian National Defence Service once again uncovered the illegal acquisition, possession and trade of weapons during the Karabakh war.

The investigation determined that detainee illegally obtained 45 submachine guns, 8 pistol combs full of bullets, hunting weapons and related cartridges and grenades during the military operation in the Jabrayil region.

That person brought all the weapons to the village of Tekh in Syunik province and hid them in his acquaintance. It has been determined that he intended to sell a part of ammunition. Law enforcement agencies also revealed that the deputy head could sell two Kalashnikov rifles to his acquaintances.
