Armenian President invited Prime minister and opposition to meeting

Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has invited the Prime Minister of the country, leaders of parliamentary factions and representatives of the "Salvation of the Motherland Movement" to the meeting on March 13, according to the information of the press service of the head of state, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

A. Sarkissian noted that the political crisis continues in the country, the situation remains tense and all of these may lead to irreversible consequences for the state and statehood. According to him, there are several problems and resolution of these requires urgent and systemic changes, including constitution and legislation. Armenian President noted that although both the government and the opposition have repeatedly stated their positions, but there is no mutual understanding and willingness to meet.

President has invited the Prime minister, leaders of parliamentary factions, and representatives of the "Salvation of the Motherland Movement" to the meeting in his palace in order to discuss and resolve the situation. He said that he was convinced that the solution to the problem was negotiations and dialogue.
