Azerbaijani President participates in Summit of heads of CIS states via video-conferencing

Summit of heads of CIS states is held via video-conferencing, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

Current condition of cooperation in political, trade-economic, social, and cultural fields and development prospectives within the framework of CIS are planned to be discussed at the Summit, held under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan. Furthermore, an exchange of views on cooperation in the fight against spread of coronavirus infection, current international and regional problems will be conducted at the summit.

As a final of the meeting, updated future development conception of CIS will be confirmed, a joint statement will be adopted regarding the 75th anniversary of the UN and international information security.

Note that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also participates at the Summit of CIS leaders held via video-conferencing.
