From today, Azerbaijani citizens will be able to travel to Georgia by air only by submitting a document on a negative PCR test, APA's local bureau reports.

According to the decision of the Georgian Interagency Coordination Council, which came into force on March 1, the new rules will be applied also to citizens of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Russia and Belarus.

According to the rules, citizens of these countries must submit the test results obtained during the last 72 hours before entering Georgia when boarding a plane at the airport.

On the third day of their visit to Georgia, these people must take the test again at their own expense.

It should be noted that according to the previous rules, Azerbaijani citizens had to submit a document showing the injection of both doses of a vaccine against coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to the decision of the Interdepartmental Coordination Council, the current regime will continue on the land borders of Georgia.
