A commission on Human rights will be established in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
The press service of CIS Executive Committee has disseminated information regarding this.
It is noted that the commission to be newly established will fight against the attempts to politicize human rights: “States which are the members of Commonwealth of Independent States consider the launch of CIS commission on human rights relevant. A meeting of the expert group on establishing of the commission has been held on March 4 in Minsk”.
The discussion has taken place with the participation of representatives of the Executive Committee of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and the CIS in a video- conference format.
