Forty-six alcohol intoxication cases [from methanol] have been recorded in Armenia from August 31 to September 5, of which 17 with lethal outcome. Sixteen patients were discharged from the hospital after getting treatment, APA reports citing Aysor.am.
Twenty-nine cases were recorded in Armenia’s Armavir region with 9 lethal outcomes, 15 in Yerevan with 7 lethal cases and two in Kotayk region with one lethal outcome.
Currently, thirteen patients with alcohol intoxication are receiving treatment in different medical centers of the republic.
The condition of one person doctors assess satisfactory, the others continue being in grave and extremely grave condition.
