The planned military training of the combined anti-aircraft defense system has kicked off in Armenia with participation of the Russian military servicemen, the press secretary of Armenia’s Defense Ministry Shushan Stepanyan posted on Facebook, APA reports.
According to him, the purpose of implementation of the joint training is to study effective combating methods in the reconnaissance and the fight against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).
Sh. Stepanyan said in the course of the training, the new forms of fight against unmanned aerial vehicles will be improved.
The main commanders of the anti-missile and anti-aircraft system detachment of Armenia and Russia, the fighter aircrafts, as well as all anti-missile, anti-aircraft and artillery units of Armenia’s armed forces are participating in the training.
