Moscow records below 60 deaths in the last 24 hours, new low since November 1

Moscow’s COVID-19 death toll rose by 58 in the last 24 hours, a new record low since November 1, while the total number of deaths hit 14,348, the anti-coronavirus crisis center told on Sunday, APA reports citing TASS.

Over the past 24 hours, 1,559 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Moscow. Since the start of the pandemic, the COVID-19 total case tally in the capital has reached 956,178.

According to the crisis center, the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases stood at 0.16%. A day earlier, 1,963 cases were recorded. Some 2,089 patients were discharged from Moscow’s hospitals over the past day, whereas a total of 869,869 people have recovered. Currently, as many as 71,961 patients are still receiving treatment in Russia’s capital.
