Preparation for meeting of Turkish, Russian Presidents is underway

“Meeting of High-Level Cooperation Council between Russia and Turkish will be held in Turkey next year, when terms are favorable,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov while his speech at the 8th meeting of Russia-Turkey Joint Strategic Planning Group held in Sochi, APA’s bureau in Russia reports.

He said that they should work on the issues, which will be on the agenda of the meeting, to be held next year, at today’s meeting.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu noted in his speech that mutual confidence in relations between Turkish and Russian Presidents serve for the development of not only bilateral, but also regional relations: “Today, we will carry out preparation for meeting of Presidents of two countries in Turkey next year. Ankara is satisfied with the close dialogue with Moscow and active work of the bodies, which support the dialogue. Expansion of our ties in fields of trade, culture, tourism, and energy, certainly, makes great satisfaction.”
