Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting before a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Kremlin press service told APA's Moscow correspondent.

The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the situation in the South Caucasus were discussed at the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Federal Security Service Chief Alexander Bortnikov and Foreign Intelligence Service Chief Sergei Naryshkin.

A trilateral meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia will be held in Moscow tomorrow at the initiative of the Russian president.
