Maksim Oreshkin, who has been head of the Economic Development Ministry since November 2016, has been appointed Economy Advisor to President Vladimir Putin, APA reports citing Sputnik.

Oreshkin left his position earlier this month amid a cabinet reshuffle, with the Russian president appointing Federal Tax Service Head Mikhail Mishustin the new prime minister, and also announcing significant constitutional amendments.
