The Russian government will create a commission on scientific and technological development. This task was assigned by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Russian Council for Science and Education on Monday, APA reports citing TASS.
"I consider it necessary to create a special commission on scientific and technological development affiliated with the Russian government," the head of state said.
According to him, this structure should include representatives of ministries at least at a level of deputy ministers as well as representatives of Russia’s Security Council. "Thus, I hope, the efficiency of operative management and inter-agency coordination will be increased in making and implementing decisions in the sphere of scientific and technological policy," Putin said.
