Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that the government's attention should also be paid to threats outside of the novel coronavirus, APA reports citing Breaking the News.
Russia is making all possible efforts to battle the pandemic, he noted, but stressed that nationwide warnings about natural emergencies and other potential dangers "to the life and safety of people" have to be issued "promptly."
He underlined that Russian regional authorities need to be completely ready for any natural emergency, especially "in conditions of self-isolation."
