Rally being held in Yerevan demanding Pashinyan

A rally is being held in Yerevan with a requirement of Nikol Pashinyan's resignation, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

The rally has been organized by 16 opposition parties.

A group of protesters, led by the leader of "Homeland" Party, former Director of Armenia's National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan is moving in the direction of Parliament from the territory, adjacent to Dvin hotel in Proshyan street.

Other groups coming from different parts of the city will join them in front of the Parliament.

Protesters chant slogans as "Nikol, traitor", "Nikol, go away". Destination of today's rally will be the parliament building.

Baghramyan Avenue, where the Parliament is situated, has already been closed.

Several thousands of people are taking part in the rally, in total.
