Residents of Armenia's Syunik region try to hinder Pashinyan's trip to the region

A group of citizens of Syunik province located on the border with Azerbaijan, holding a protest rally, are trying to prevent the visit of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to the region, APA reports citing news.am.

According to the information, in the morning today, a group of residents moved towards the entrance of Syunik province in order to stop Pashinyan’s cortege. But police employees stopped them.

The residents of border settlements of Syunik note that according to the trilateral statement in Garabagh, new combat posts of the Azerbaijani Army threaten their security. Blocking the streets residents demand their protection during the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
