Moscow does not rule out the possibility of cutting ties with the EU if Brussels introduces sanctions that create risks for sensitive sectors of the Russian economy, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with the Soloviev LIVE Youtube channel, APA reports citing TASS.

"We believe that we are ready," the minister said, answering a corresponding question. "If we see once again, like we did many times before, that there are sanctions imposed in some areas that create risks for our economy, namely in its most sensitive areas..."

"Yes, we wouldn’t want to isolate from global life, but we need to be ready for this. If you want peace, get ready for war," he stressed.
