Russian government limits medical mask retail to pharmaceutical companies

The Russian government has limited medical mask retail to companies that have a pharmaceutical license and also limited the trade margin, according to the order, published at the Russian government website Monday, APA reports citing TASS.

In particular, the order includes a list of medical supplies that could only be sold by licensed companies; the list includes respirators, medical masks, gauze fabric, medical gloves, single-use medical kits, and protective wear.

Besides, the order limits the retail margin by 0.1 rubles per one piece.

According to the order, the wholesale margin for every supply chain stage must not exceed 10% from procurement price or cost price, which includes the supplier’s price and all delivery expenses.

The order enters force since the day of publishing and will remain in force for 90 days.
