Seven people died in a fire in a residential building in the village of Ust-Uda, Irkutsk region, said press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, APA reports citing Russian media.

It is clarified that by the time the firefighters arrived, the veranda of one of the apartments was on fire.

“Seven people were found in the apartment as a gas and smoke protection service: the dead - a man born in 1998 and two women born in 1997 and 1993, as well as four children who received carbon monoxide poisoning", noted.
