Ukraine has identified 1,172 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as of 9 a.m. on Aug. 1, APA reports citing KyivPost.
There are currently 30,039 active cases across the country and 4,800 people are receiving treatment in hospitals, including 124 patients on lung ventilators.
The total number of infections identified in Ukraine since the start of the pandemic stands at 71,056. A total of 39,308 people have recovered and 1,709 have died of the disease.
In the past 24 hours, Ukraine has recorded 16 deaths from COVID-19, 232 patients have been hospitalized and 556 have recovered.
