“London has not given up its imperial ambitions,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova to radio Vesti, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
She said that Russian MFA will officially comment on this issue at the briefing to be held today: “In general, everything about Britain is very sad. The problem of imperial ambitions has not disappeared. Ambition exists , but there is not a base for this. This base has rotten. Unfortunately, they try to present their action as a good work, they take such new steps to restore the reputation of a leading, great and powerful country.”
