Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria has said that NATO-Georgia cooperation is becoming tighter and more extensive, APA reports citing Agenda.Ge.
His comment comes after he visited the NATO Allied Joint Force Command center in Naples, Italy last week.
United States Navy Admiral James Foggo hosted Levan Izoria and discussed strategic aspects of NATO-Georgia partnership and future plans with him. They emphasised the issue of strengthening security in the Black Sea region and international exercises planned in Georgia.
“We plan to strengthen our relations that will reflect on regional stability, security and ensures integration of Georgia in NATO,” Defense Minister Izoria said.
The Georgian delegation also participated in the event held to mark the 70th anniversary of the alliance.
