Georgia’s tourism revenues increase

In January-May of the current year Georgia has earned $1,1 bn profit from international tourism, National Tourism Agency of Georgia told, APA’s local bureau reports.

The profits earned in the first five months of the current year is more than $ 101 mln or 9,8% in comparison to the same period of the previous year. It was noted that only in May, Georgia has received $ 281 million from international tourism. It is $ 25 mln or 14,2% more in comparison to the same period of 2018.

According to the agency, in the first five months of the current year, there has been an increase in the number of expensive tourists coming from Europe and the Middle East.
