“Unfortunately, after the last meeting of the Council of CIS Defense Ministers in Anapa, the situation in the world has not changed, potential conflicts remain”, said Sergey Lebedev, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee in the meeting of CIS Council of Defense Ministers held in Baku, APA reports.
According to him, this nullifies the results of efforts on strategic security issues.
“Our familiar countries do not give up the policy of power in international relations and try to place weapons in outer space,” S. Lebedev noted.
He emphasized that the deployment of NATO's military infrastructure along the western borders of the CIS is a matter of concern.
