Moscow says rising Norwegian military spending targets Russia

Russia is concerned by Norwegian military spending and the development of its military infrastructure and sees those moves as clearly targeted at Moscow, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on Thursday, APA reports citing Reuters Moscow.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov plans to raise these concerns on Friday at talks with his Norwegian counterpart in the Norwegian town of Kirkenes, the ministry said in a statement.

Informing about the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals at the national level the minister spoke about economic and socially oriented reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.

E. Mammadyarov noted Azerbaijan’s loyalty to the implementation of 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and Azerbaijan expressed importance of taking practical and concrete steps in the field of promotion and enhancing cooperation and economical integration in the direction of South direction.
