New Minister of Health appointed in Georgia

Health Minister of Georgia Davit Sergeenko has resigned – Georgian PM Mamuka Bakhtadze announced the relevant decision at the briefing held in the government administration, APA reports citing Georgia Today.

According to Mamuka Bakhtadze, Sergeenko will continue to work as an advisor to the PM.

Davit Sergeenko will be replaced by Eka Tikaradze, the Director of Sachkhere hospital.

Davit Sergeenko was appointed Healthcare Minister in 2012.
